Conditions and Reregistration

Failures/Missed Opportunities

Candidates for the pediatric radiology oral examination have three opportunities to appear for and pass the exam. Failure to accept an appointment, cancellation of an appointment, or failure to appear for a scheduled examination will be regarded as one of the three opportunities. A candidate who fails the exam or fails to appear as noted must submit a new registration plus the appropriate fee, and retake the entire examination.

Conditions

There are three categories in the neuroradiology oral exam. A candidate who has conditioned one of the categories will be reexamined by two examiners in the conditioned category. The candidate must receive passing scores from both examiners to remove the condition.

If after three opportunities the candidate fails to pass the exam, he/she must submit a new registration plus the appropriate fee, and will be required to repeat the entire examination at the next opportunity.

Condition candidates receive specific deadline information for their exams.
