Pediatric Radiology

Pediatric radiology is a subspecialty of diagnostic radiology that encompasses imaging procedures for the diagnosis of diseases of infants and children, such as plain film radiography, contrast studies, ultrasonography, nuclear radiology, computerized tomography, digital radiography, angiography, interventional techniques and magnetic resonance imaging.

MOC (maintenance of certification) is for diplomates who are already ABR-certified in pediatric radiology, and who are working in the 10-year cycle of maintaining that certification.

Diplomates hold time-limited (10-year) certificates and are therefore automatically enrolled in the MOC program. They should start participating immediately.
