The ABR - Diagnostic Radiology

Diagnostic radiology encompasses a variety of diagnostic and image-guided therapeutic techniques, including all aspects of radiological diagnosis, nuclear radiology, diagnostic ultrasound, magnetic resonance, computed tomography, interventional procedures and the use of other forms of radiant energy.

MOC (maintenance of certification) is for diplomates who are already ABR-certified, and who are working in the 10-year cycle of maintaining that certification.

Diplomates who hold time-limited (10-year) certificates are automatically enrolled in the MOC program and should start participating immediately.

Diplomates who hold lifetime certificates must enroll in the program to begin the MOC process.

ABR Leaders have recently presented updates during the meetings of various professional societies on the Board's MOC and PQI activities. The following presentations are now available to provide our diplomates important information about MOC and about planning PQI projects.
